Online and web-based classes are hosted on ASU Blackboard
and can be accessed by pointing your web browser to http://blackboard.alcorn.edu.
Important Announcement:
If you are using Internet Explorer 8, click the compatibility
button when accessing blackboard in order to be able to complete
exams successfully:

How
can I find my Blackboard user name and password?
- Point
your internet browser to http://www.alcorn.edu;
- Click "Online
Services ";
- Sign
in with your ASU ID and PIN (your PIN
is usually your 6 digit date of birth if you have not
changed
it previously);
- Click "Personal
Information ";
- Click "View
Email Address ";
- Note
your email address that looks like: student@mail.alcorn.edu;
- Your
Blackboard username is the first part of
your email address that you noted in step #6 and your
Blackboard
password is the same as
the PIN you used to sign in to the secure area
in step #3;
- Sign
off/exit;
- Point
your internet browser to http://blackboard.alcorn.edu;
- Click "User
Login ";
- Login
with the credentials you noted in step
#7;
- Click
the class you want to access.

- You
can contact the Blackboard

or calling 601-877-6142 or 601-877-4081. They are located
within the academic affairs office on the 4th floor
in the
main administration
building at the Lorman campus.

for Information Technology Services is located
