MBA curriculum is designed to expose students to broader perspectives
needed to manage change effectively in a globally interdependent,
diverse world and enhance the student's interpersonal, communication
(both oral and written), and analytical skills necessary for managers
to work effectively in teams recognizing the ethical implications
of their actions.
There
are three components in the MBA curriculum:
The
graduate or professional core consists of advanced business
courses that substantially extend and apply knowledge gained
at the undergraduate level. Students with a non-business
undergraduate background may enroll in graduate or professional
core courses after satisfying the foundation courses.
Although
the program is designed as a general MBA Program, students
may decide to gain a focus on a particular academic area
by selecting several electives from one particular area
of interest.
These
foundation courses are designed for students from non-business
undergraduate backgrounds. All or part of the foundation
courses may be satisfied through advanced standing given
in view of a student's prior equivalent course work at
the undergraduate or graduate level.
