Dr Trowbridge is a Visiting Professor at Alcorn State University in Natchez, MS. He instructs classes in management in the MBA graduate program and undergraduate program of the Alcorn School of Business. His academic experience includes 20 years of teaching in hospitality business programs at Northern Arizona University, the University of New Hampshire, and Western Carolina University where he was the Department Head. He has extensive military and industry experience. He is a retired LTC from the Army Reserve and has built and managed hotels and resorts in Phoenix, Tucson, Salt Lake City, Santa Fe and other Southwest cities. He was active in hospitality and civic associations during this time and remains a member of the Cornell Hotel Society. His research focuses on areas of interest to hospitality operators. Dr. Trowbridge has written textbook chapters on gaming, event management and numerous articles that have appeared in the CHRIE Educator, FIU Hospitality Review, Journal of Gambling Studies, Journal of Vacation Marketing, The World Eye View of Hospitality, The Timeshare and Vacation Ownership Review and other related hospitality publications. He lives with his wife Nancy in Ocean Springs, MS.
