Dr. Marshall is a Professor of Marketing at Alcorn State University in Lorman and Natchez Mississippi. He has served as Program Chair and President of the Atlantic Marketing Association, and is a permanent member of the board of directors of that association. Dr. Marshall is also the 2007-2008 Prsident of the Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators and a former member of the board of directors of the Marketing Management Association. He serves on the editorial review boards of Health Marketing Quarterly and the Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing. Dr. Marshall has published numerous marketing and management related articles in refereed academic journals, and has published three books related to government policy impacts on technology development and commercialization, computer based marketing information and database systems, and social research techniques. Dr. Marshall's current teaching responsibilities include health care marketing, financial services marketing, marketing strategy, and marketing principles. Dr. Marshall's current research activities involve not-for-profit marketing, generalized exchange, social marketing programs, fine arts marketing, and community economic development.
