After successful completion of his Ph. D. program, he joined the faculty of University of Arkansas, and later University of New Orleans where he was teaching, and guiding the graduate students in their research work, and continues with his guidance to the students in Alcorn State. His areas of teaching interests include Acounting Theory, Financial Accounting, Managerial, and Cost Accounting, and Accounting Information System. He has published in prestigious journals like The Accounting Review. He has made a number of research presentations in various professional conferences. Several of his students were motivated by him to join the doctoral programs in various universities. They have successfully completed their programs and are now very productive, and creative citizens. He is proud of them for their contribution to the accounting, and business literature.
